I cannot fully welcome 2023, without giving 2022 the respect it deserves. As I sit in my

ree

office, looking at last year’s vision board, I’m reminded of His grace and faithfulness. More than 10% of my goals were accomplished, even with my mistakes, procrastinations, and sometimes getting in my own way. Unlike me, He kept His word. He didn’t waver. For that, I am grateful.

He walked me through unfamiliar territories, mother/daughter moments, and growing pains. Unlike Him, I didn’t always stay on Faith Street; but I always found my way back. Even though I often missed the mark, I still completed my first 5k, created/introduced our greeting card collection, opened an online store, found a local church, fed the homeless, learned a new skill and married my life partner.

This year, I plan to be still and listen more, live in the moment, put in motion some things I’ve recently learned, and give myself permission. No, I didn’t come close to meeting all of my goals in 2022, not even half. But when I focus on my wins, I’m excited to see what happens for me in 2023.
