I Did It Scared

It’s finished. I took my own advice and finally completed what I started a few years ago. I am officially a self-published author. My book launched the day after Father’s Day on

It’s been two weeks and I’m still scrambling for words. The positive vibes, support, and high energy were a bit overwhelming. The orders and feedback were happening so fast. I did my best to ignore the butterflies in my stomach. Kind words encouraged me, smiles held me down and love kept me from falling apart.

“Southern Bittersweet Tea” is a fiction book about a small group of family and friends being there for each other, as they try to sort out their own lives. You don’t have to be born and raised in the South to know that family and friends can be a blessing and a curse. They can love you to life and hurt you to death. Either way, forgiveness is a choice and available to us all. In my opinion, the book is relatable and captures the attention of people from all walks of life.
