It’s that time of year again! The caps, the gowns, diplomas, and flowers, when families and friends gather for hours. Today we celebrate you. Yes, you!
Think of something, one thing you have accomplished, completed, or overcome in the past 4 years. Can’t remember? No problem. Let’s go back 2 years. Okay the simple fact that you are reading this post tells me you are a conqueror my friend. Let’s review.
Maybe you have learned a new skill, finished something you started for once, reinvented yourself; created a vision board, monthly budget or set goals for the first time; survived the loss of a loved one, unemployment or a divorce; stepped out on faith, quit a bad habit, kept your word, or found a church home. Maybe you paid off a debt, organized your closet, volunteered, got involved, helped someone; conquered a fear, started walking, baked something from scratch or managed your anxiety. Do I need to keep going?
My point is, we’ve all graduated from something within the past few years, months, or just last week. So go ahead and smile for the camera, turn the music up and pour yourself a drink. Afterall, you did it!
Congratulations to the Class of 2022 Graduates.
