Now that we have all said our goodbyes to 2020, let’s take a moment to recap a few things we did right, a few things we did well and a few things we could have done better. This exercise is a great way to recognize where we are in life, how far we’ve come and areas that may need a little tweaking for a better future.

Let me be one of the first to motivate and encourage you to go for it! That’s right. All the plans, goals, dreams, or even ideas you have been holding on to, go for it! You survived this past year. That alone, is a big accomplishment. Chances are, you learned how to be patient, tapped into your creativity, discovered your inner-strength, and changed your perspective on a few things. You’re not alone.

Don’t let the fear of failure stop you. Instead, welcome it. You read it right. Failure is a huge part of growth and success. It says, “You tried. You didn’t quite get there; but you tried”. Which means you experienced something new. Sure, disappointment will stop by for a visit; but don’t let it stay long. You’re too busy for that. What did you learn? Retrace your steps. Make a few adjustments; and go for it again!

If you stay focused long enough and endure the process, you will eventually look up and realize you are not where you started. You are so much closer than you were. You can’t quit now. You got this!
